All about the Glass
There comes a time when business starts to grow and so does your equipment. I decided to add another lens to my camera bag and with that comes to decision of what lens do I want? Which one do I really need and which one can I afford? I have a wedding to shoot in Jan. . . . so excited to shoot this lovely couple. I’ve looked at several lenses and samples sent in by photographers and some were really impressive while others were like blah so really it comes down to me as a photographer and my skills. Since it’s taken me over 24 hours to purchase the lens that I have placed in my amazon cart, I think I will keep the money stashed away and purchase my $1800 lens during Christmas right before the wedding.

Blooming Newborns
Photographing newborns can be a trying event and sometimes it can be easy breezy. Baby Julia was soo easy to capture. She hardly fussed, but she was most comfortable laying her head on to the side instead of her chin. The moment that I put this blooming hat on her head. . . . ahhhhs filled to room. I want to share one of my favorite pictures I captured.
Balancing on a Tight Rope
That is what my life feels like right now. Being a mom of 3 . . . sometimes 4 if you count my husband, starting my own business, making sure my clients are happy and are willing to return, making sure I’m constantly having new clients, trying to keep our home clutter free, keeping up with the kids activities & school work and all things a mom and wife needs to be, can bring sooo much chaos in my life that I don’t feel balanced or productive.
SO I created charts and schedules since that seems to work for many large families. Now just putting it into effect is the hardest part, but needs to be done if I want to get off this “tight rope” I call my hetic life.
Any suggestions to balancing my life so that everything I do is a succuess? I would love to hear it.
Peace Love & Sun Lilly
